Founded in 1902 by W. H. Gunlocke, and initially specializing in seating for homes, libraries and lounges, The Gunlocke Company became a part of Hon Industries in 1989.

After two decades of investment in employee training, new manufacturing systems, CAD/CAM and ERP technologies, Gunlocke was well positioned to provide best in class quality and service to its targeted markets of professional service firms, including financial, accounting and legal organizations.

We were engaged by Gunlocke’s executive leadership team to research how the brand was perceived by customers, specifiers, and Gunlocke’s own dealer network – and to propose a strategy that would reinvigorate Gunlocke’s image and open up new opportunities for growth.
